Medical & Beauty Services - Rhinoplasty for Men

A great plastic surgeon once said: “I would consider my work a failure if I recognized it on the street”.

At Belallure, all our surgeons strongly agree this point of view when it comes to Rhinoplasty.

The Rhinoplasty is the medical and aesthetic surgery of the nose; it aims at correcting defaults and congenital post traumatic or age-related abnormalities. It also fixes impaired breathing problems caused by structural irregularities in the nose.
The Rhinoplasty is usually done independently, but if needed it can be associated with other interventions such as Genioplasty or Mentoplasty which are cosmetic surgeries done for the chin.
This surgery modifies the morphology of the nasal pyramid either partially or completely. The procedure involves performing incisions using a closed technique, which means that the incisions are made inside the nose leaving no visible scars. Afterwards the bone and the cartilage are remodeled and the nasal bridge is given its new particular shape. Finally the skin and tissue are pulled tight, or re-draped onto the modified cartilage. The final result depends on the skins elasticity and quality, which is why the final result of a Rhinoplasty procedure takes several months to show completely.

Our objective is to give our patients a natural nose rather than a signature one. That is why we provide consultation sessions where our professionals can fully understand the patient’s requests and achieve a successful Rhinoplasty.

This surgery requires the patient to undergo blood tests along with a pre-anesthetic consultation and other minor requests. The duration of the procedure ranges from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes. It requires general anesthesia but causes no post-surgery pain. The procedure will cause temporary difficulty in breathing accompanied by edema and bruising around the eyes. Patients are hospitalized for 24 hours and can remove the buds (part of the bandaging) 4 days following the surgery. Patients may resume activities 10 to 15 days post surgery.
